Again this year, APTIKNAS and its members attended the World System Integrator Conference and Smart City Summit & Expo in Taipei. The activity took place at Nangang Expo, Hall 2.
This activity began with an MoU between the Taipei Computer Association and APTIKNAS several years ago, as well as collaboration with the Industrial Technology Research Institute.
APTIKNAS is the only loyal partner in various TCA activities, both onsite and online. This is proven by the presence of 22 members in this year’s activities.
APTIKNAS members who were present took photos, there were some who didn’t have time to take photos together.
One of the main activities is various panel discussions and presentations. On this occasion, Deputy General Chairperson for Cooperation, Andy Tanudireja, was a speaker at the forum.
Likewise, the Secretary General of APTIKNAS, Fanky Christian, was also present as a panelist in the MatchMade Asia session, which this time carried the theme Green City Business Networking.
We saw many enthusiastic visitors from various countries in this activity, and this is very interesting to be able to make the activity even more successful in the coming year. The solutions displayed in various booths at the expo were no less interesting.
What is clearly more interesting is the interaction between members and various parties from abroad, who have the same background, related to smart cities and system integrators.
And of course, we didn’t miss out on exploring Taipei’s diverse culinary scene together.
Why hesitate? APTIKNAS has been around since 2017, with free membership fees, but its members can take part in various extraordinary networking access, not only within the country, but even abroad. Its members can appear in various national and international activities and bring the good name of the nation and state of Indonesia. Because we have a unique motto ‘Together Success is Certainly More Glorious’, the life slogan of our Chairman.
On the second day we were again present at the World System Integrator Conference and Smart City Summit and Expo in Taipei 2024.
This morning, we were very fortunate to be able to visit Chungwa Telecom (CHT) and learn how Taiwan is implementing various solutions related to 5G. Maybe we won’t be able to see the implementation of 5G in Indonesia in the near future, but we can see how Taiwan is very serious about working on 5G and then implementing various things that are interesting for system integrators and smart city players.
Of course we are happy, because we can see operators like CHT implementing 5G solutions.
Next, we were invited to explore 5G solutions that have been implemented, not just concepts.
One of them is Smartpole, which is a product of CHTInfinity, a joint company between CHT and Infinity Group.
It turns out that the implementation of Smartpole is very broad, here are the advantages.
We were also invited to come back to various CHT solutions in the booths available at the expo. One of CHT’s strengths is the Internet world backbone network that it controls. This is also apparently the bridge for the AI network from Taiwan all this time.
And the entire APTIKNAS contingent was very enthusiastic about participating in this session with CHT.

Next we moved to the ADI (Administration for Digital Industry) booth, the Taiwanese government was so serious, they created a special digital ministry.
This time the person appearing was the Chairman of the Smart City and Industry 4.0 Committee, Tritan Saputra. The presentation was impressive and made many participants get a lot of information even in a short time.
The speakers took the opportunity to take photos together, followed by photos with the remaining participants.
So, that’s the second day, you already know the rest, filled with culinary tours and dinner with the various associations involved.
One interesting thing in Mr. Tritan’s session was his ability to appear to amaze many people. and makes people immediately remember him. That’s why we feel public speaking skills are very important for all of us.
