So far, Taiwan Excellence has also contributed as the main sponsor by involving well-known brands from Taiwan such as Benq, Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, Thermaltake, ECS, and Aver. Support also from international companies such as Steelseries, Thrustmaster, and Streampilfy. Not to forget, this event is also supported by national brands, namely NYK, Cube Gaming, Vurrion, and also the online game portal FINPAY (game.finpay.id) which has just been officially launched at the Jakarta Game Expo 2023 event by the Senior Vice President Telco & Digital Goods Services Finpay Dandit Hardiarto.

Through this expo, continued Putri, APGI invites members of the Payment Gateway industry who are members of APGI to introduce various latest innovations in the field of payment gateways which are specifically designed to meet transaction needs in the gaming industry.
“Through collaboration with events such as the Jakarta Game Expo, APGI shows its commitment to actively support and contribute to the growth of the online gaming industry in Indonesia. “This not only helps gamers and game developers, but also opens up wider opportunities to increase digital literacy and financial inclusion in Indonesia,” said Angel.
Meanwhile, Soegiharto Santoso as General Chair of the DPP APTIKNAS in his speech said that he was very proud and appreciated the performance of the DPD APTIKNAS DKI Jakarta management who consistently held the Jakarta Game Expo up to 3 times in 2023.
“I wish congratulations and success to Hendri Andrigo Sutanto as Chair of the DPD APTIKNAS DKI Jakarta and to Michael Edward as Secretary of the DPD APTIKNAS DKI Jakarta who has succeeded in significantly encouraging the Indonesian Game Industry through the Jakarta Game Expo 2023 event.” said Hoky, his nickname.
Hoky also said, “Indonesia has become a major market in the global gaming industry and the Jakarta Game Expo 2023 event is a form of recognition and full support for the national gaming industry.” he said.
In this event, local game developer Visai was also present with the name Venba, namely an educational cooking game. They collaborated with Canada, India and published it on various international platforms so that it could enter the international market. It has been proven that it has been successfully released on the platforms Steam, Switch, Microsoft X-box, Nintendo, and Sonny Playstation, so that in just two weeks it has been downloaded by more than 25,000 buyers at a price of 14 US Dollars per user.
Hoky added, “I hope that the BKPM will create negative list regulations for types of gamer companies so that they don’t kill local studios and I really support the Ministry of Industry regarding TKDN, because I have received information about many of our young people only working in foreign companies in Indonesia. It’s very rare for local kids to be able to get access to capital and outside markets for their indie games.”
“Friends from the management at APTIKNAS are ready to support co-production between young people and foreign distributors so that indie children can access the international market. Capital must come from Indonesia so that tax money returns to Indonesia.” Hoky concluded.
The gaming industry in Indonesia continues to experience rapid growth, according to records of the gaming industry in Indonesia, in 2022 it will reach IDR 30 trillion, whereas in the world it will reach IDR 3,000 trillion.
